GLOSSAY of TERMS

Below are requirements for all 2T Scouts about to complete Stage 5 in Bushwalking, Camping and Bushcraft.
This is to improve your skills and safety for your upcoming Adventurous Journeys.

Completion of the attached is excellent practice.
These documents do not need to be perfect but are there to make you think and to comply with Stage 5 items on Hazard Management and Hiking / Camping Planning.

Complete these 2 douments as best you can (you can ask for help). Complete your 2 day hike then give to your Leaders for assessment, prior to requesting sign-off of stage 5 in these CORE badge.

NOTE: SCOUTHIKE does not count as your 2 day hike given the region planning and support you have during Scouthike.

If all stage 5 candidates (Scouts) want to organise a real 2 day hike prior to their Adventurous Journey, that would be a very good idea to gain the experience needed.
Alternately, if they have alreaded completed a hike and camp described above, they could plan their real Adventurous Journey and gain stage 5 after the hike.
